Farmer Charlie system brings high-speed internet connectivity, weather and soil sensors, and mobile applications to farmers. Farmer Charlie can install sensors measuring pH or nutrients, light, humidity, or other values to help farmers obtain better yields, reduce losses and foster agribusiness opportunities to sell their products. Farmer Charlie system is meant to be an economical solution for small farmers.

Farmer Charlie's team visited Zala and Yoredoula, where they met with local population and farmers.

Looking at the problems faced by farmers in both villages, it is clear that Farmer Charlie system can meet their needs, especially regarding internet connectivity and the irrigation system.

Farmer Charlie system can also contribute to the creation of cooperatives in every village and city where cooperatives and farming hubs do not exist.

These cooperatives will be included in Farmer Charlie’s database system.

Farmer Charlie team enjoyed their stay in the Vavoua region very much. It was an interesting and fruitful visit, rich in encounters and fulfilling from both a human and professional point of view.
